LOCAL PRODUCTION LAPAROSCOPY GUN PROJECT

Studies on this project are ongoing. The aim of the project is to manufacture a local laparoscopy gun. An innovative product is designed. With the project, a great contribution will be made to domestic and national capital.

WHAT IS LAPAROSCOPY?

Laparoscopy is a semi-invasive surgical technique used to examine or operate organs and tissues in the abdominal cavity. It takes its name from the laparoscope, which has a light camera at the end, used during the procedure. It is also called keyhole surgery or minimally invasive surgery. It is performed under general anesthesia and by specially trained operator doctors. Laparoscopic surgery was first applied in gallbladder and gynecology surgeries. In the last 10 years, the area of use of this technique has expanded enormously.

How is laparoscopy performed?

In traditional "open" surgery, the surgeon uses a single, large incision to enter his abdomen. In laparoscopic surgery, more than one and several incisions of small diameter (0.5 - 1 cm) are used. Each incision is called a "port". A tubular instrument known as a trocar is inserted into each port.

During the procedure, special instruments and a special camera called laparoscope pass through the trocars. At the beginning of the procedure, the abdomen is inflated with carbon dioxide gas to provide the surgeon's working and viewing area. Laparoscopy transmits images from the abdominal cavity to high resolution video monitors in the operating room. During the operation, the surgeon watches detailed images of the abdomen on the monitor. This system allows the surgeon to perform the same procedures as traditional open surgery with fewer incisions.

Advantages of laparoscopic surgery

Compared to classical surgeries, the patient will recover much more quickly. Because the incisions made are very small. For the same reason, bleeding and pain will be much less. Post-operative scars are also smaller. Since there is no traumatic procedure, the patient can be discharged on the same day.

DOMESTIC SURGICAL STAPLER PROJECT

One of the innovations used in the medical sector is the stapler. Another name for staples skin staple. It is a disposable product used to bring the skin edges together. It certainly does not cause a reaction thanks to its biocompatible staples made of stainless steel. Using a skin stapler shortens the operation and anesthesia time. In addition, thoracotomy closes the incision in 3-4 minutes on average.

Skin stapler, which is safe due to the use of completely stainless steel staples, is one of the leading medical products that should be used after surgical interventions or in first aid units. The skin stapler, which is a disposable product, offers a practical use as it can be completely grasped by hand. The skin stapler, which significantly shortens the operation and therefore anesthesia time, is produced under sterile conditions. It can be used easily and safely after all kinds of surgery and for closure of any wound. The skin stapler, which should be available in emergency service units, is suitable for use by physicians after the intervention.
